The aim of this service is to give you peace of mind by setting out all the practical things that you would like taken care of after your death that are not covered by your will.
You will be able to help the people that you leave behind you by:
- Making sure that important documents can be found
- Ensuring that the appropriate people are notified
- Avoiding difficult decisions about funeral arrangements
- Saving your family and friends from trying to guess what you would have wished
- Giving you a helpful checklist of things you would want done
- Saving money spent on administration, and speeding up the process
Have you thought of...
...where you have recorded the details of your driving licence and passport numbers, insurance policies, card protection schemes, computer passwords, roadside recovery schemes, pension schemes, shares, who has the spare keys to the house and where you would like to be buried or your ashes to be scattered? THE PROBLEM IS THAT MAKING A WILL DOES NOT COVER ALL THESE DETAILS. "My Final Wishes" is a 40 page package which refers to in excess of 60 matters about which you may wish to record relevant information in the pack to help those left to sort out your estate. It includes details of your proposed funeral arrangements, who to invite and even your preferred epitaph! It is recommended that it is then stored with your will to help those dealing with your arrangements after your death.
Consider the saving
It is very rare for somebody to fill in one of our packs in less than 2 hours. Think what time, trouble and money you will be saving others by you doing this, rather than a struggling grief-stricken friend or relative, or a well-paid lawyer. The pack costs just £10 plus £1.50 p&p if ordered quoting the website reference (GW/WS/4), though the usual retail price is £12.99 . That investment equates to the cost of about three minutes of the time of a probate lawyer charging £120 an hour to sort out your estate!
This pack does not involve a will-kit. It aims to address those things that a will-kit traditionally does not include. We recommend that you seek legal advice to draft your will.
Note that we will totally respect your privacy. We will not add your details to any mailing list or provide them to any third party. This documentation does not provide legal advice. No will-making kit is included. We are happy to recommend you to a probate lawyer in your area, whose services we consider reliable when you contact us.
